Older Americans Act Services
Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (JAAA) announces that it will release multiple Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on or about February 3, 2026, for services funded under the Older Americans Act (OAA). These procurements support the delivery of essential nutrition and transportation services to adults age 60 and older within JAAA’s planning and service area.
The anticipated RFPs include:

OAA Title III-C-1 Congregate Nutrition Services

OAA Title III-C-2 Home Delivered Meals

OAA Title III-B Transportation Services
-
OAA Title III-E Transportation Services
Through this procurement process, JAAA seeks qualified providers with the capacity, experience, and organizational infrastructure to deliver high-quality, compliant services in accordance with the Older Americans Act, Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) requirements, and JAAA policies.
Complete RFP documents, including submission instructions and deadlines, will be available beginning on or about February 3, 2026.

OAA IIIC1 Congregate Meals
Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (JAAA) has issued Addendum #1 and Addendum #2 to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for OAA Title III-C(1) Congregate Meals Services.
Addendum #1:

Corrects clerical labeling errors in the Title III-C(1) application cover sheet;
-
Corrects clerical labeling errors in the Reviewer Score Sheet related to section maximum point values; and
-
Reiterates that only written responses issued by JAAA through the official Question & Answer process or formal addenda are binding.
No changes to the RFP scope of services, evaluation criteria, scoring methodology, or contract terms were made in Addendum #1.
Addendum #2:

Removes the following congregate meal sites from the FY 2027 contract period:

Proposers must adjust staffing, operations, and budgets accordingly.
No other changes to submission requirements, evaluation criteria, scoring methodology, contract terms, or proposal deadline were made.
All proposers are responsible for reviewing Addendum #1 and Addendum #2 and incorporating them into their proposal preparation.
Both addenda are available on the JAAA website and shall be considered part of the RFP.
