About
CHAMPSS (Choosing Healthy Appetizing Meal Plan Solutions for Seniors) allows those age 60 and older to choose from different entrees and eat at their convenience seven days a week at CHAMPSS locations throughout Shawnee, Jefferson, and Douglas counties. This program is for active persons who are not home bound and can go to the CHAMPSS site to eat their meals. Participants must complete an orientation and submit a registration packet to enroll in the program. Participants are also encouraged to make the suggested donation of $3.50 per meal. No one is denied a meal if they are unable to donate.

Please print out the CHAMPSS Meal Order Form and complete the form. Enclose your payment and mail to Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, 2910 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66610
Please remember when paying by Check, Money Order or Cashier’s Check it should be made payable to Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging or JAAA.

Call the JAAA office at 785.235.1367 or 800.798.1366, Monday – Friday from 8am to 4:30pm for donations using a credit or debit card.
In Person:

If you are not giving the suggested donation, contact Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging (JAAA) to reorder meals at 785-235-1367 or 1-800-798-1366.
If you are donating with a Vision card, you must come to the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging (JAAA) office at 2910 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66611.
