JAAA makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their caregivers. Many of JAAA’s services allow seniors to continue living in their homes and remain safe and independent for as long as possible. By donating to JAAA you can help seniors who need dental cleanings, supplies or medical equipment they cannot afford, or provide respite care to a caregiver in need of a break.
At JAAA, we're dedicated to supporting older adults across Jefferson, Shawnee, and Douglas counties; helping them live with independence, dignity, and joy. Whether it's delivering a hot meal, connecting seniors with vital resources, or supporting caregivers in our community, our programs make a real difference every single day.

Poverty is never easy to witness. It is especially heartbreaking when it affects frail, low-income older adults who have worked hard throughout their lives, only to find they have outlived their savings and that no existing program can meet their most basic and immediate needs. Recognizing this gap, JAAA established the Guardian Angel Fund to provide critical assistance in these desperate situations.
