The meeting once a month is a gentle reminder that family caregivers need to put themselves first…even if only for a couple of hours each month! Many family caregivers need time to vent in a safe place. Support groups are a place to receive and give support.

Caregiver Information Assistance
One-on-one, Phone or in person consultation to answer questions about caregiver services available and provide information and options about other services or community programs that are available. For resources and brochures Click Here
Working Caregiver Programs
Offers support to employed persons by connecting them to support groups, respite care, in-home care, and referrals to community resources for the caregiver and the care recipient; the JAAA caregiver Specialist is able to offer a confidential assessment of the caregivers needs and help identify resources to meet those needs
Respite for Caregivers
Respite for Caregivers -Caregivers are provided temporary relief from caregiving duties whether through personal care and homemaker services or respite. Services can be tailored to meet the needs of the caregiver.
Family Caregiver Support Program
The Family Caregiver Support Program provides a network of support for caregivers. Caregivers play a vital role in helping older adults maintain their health and independence. The program supports family caregivers by providing information, assistance, and services to help them care for not only their loved ones, but also themselves. If you are an unpaid caregiver of someone 60 years of age or older you may qualify for the Family Caregiver Support Program. Whether you have an ongoing need for support or a one-time question our full-time Caregiver Support Specialist is here for you.
