Access America for Seniors — FirstGov for Seniors will empower citizens to obtain valuable health and security information and services at one location via the Internet.

Administration on Aging — Provides a comprehensive overview of a wide variety of topics, programs and services related to aging.

Area Agencies on Aging — The Area Agency on Aging is a grassroots organization built to respond to the needs in their community. Each AAA manages programs and services designed to meet the needs of its particular area. Their mission is to deliver easily accessible, top-quality services that sustain healthy lifestyles and support self-sufficiency in the aging population.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) — The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has nearly 350,000 members in Kansas, and hundreds of AARP volunteers work at the community, state and national levels. They fulfill AARP's vision "to excel as a dynamic presence in every community, shaping and enriching the experience of aging for each member and for society."

Kansas ElderCount — Kansas ElderCount is a project to design and produce a chart book describing key measures of older adult well-being, at the county level. The chart book is to be used by policy makers, program planners and the general public.

 

 

 

National Council on the Aging — Advocacy organization for seniors.

National Insitiute on Aging — Provides leadership in aging research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs relevant to aging and older people. Subsequent amendments to this legislation designated the NIA as the primary federal agency on Alzheimer’s disease research.

Kansas Department on Aging — The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) can help you find information and/or resources that may be able to assist you. You can find information on the Kansas Legislature, how to access legal assistance, receive free publications, learn about issues effecting seniors and much more. Seniors on the Net — Provides adults 50+ access to and education about computer technology and the Internet to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowlegde and wisdom.
