Guardian Angel Fund

Often times a well-placed grab bar in the shower can mean the difference between staying in one’s homeor moving to a healthcare facility.

Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging ‘s Guardian Angel fund is for those seniors who are truly in need of just a little help to remain independent.

Due to the generosity of Barney and Joan Braymen and the assistance of Topeka Community Foundation, JAAA has set-up a fund specifically designated to supplying items which will help JAAA's low-income senior clients remain independent!

Examples of Guardian Angel Purchases

  • Stool Risers
  • Grab Bars
  • Magnifying Mirrors
  • Incontinence Supplies

Current Needs:
Do you have a walker or perhaps a wheel chair in good working order just collecting dust in your attic? JAAA will put it to good use with a senior in the community!

Donations can be dropped off at the JAAA offices, or call (785) 235-1367 and we will arrange to have your donation picked up.
